About Cathy

Cathy Lee is an interior designer who...

...has been transforming residential and commercial spaces for nearly two decades and is sought-after for her sophisticated and modern take on island design. She is known for creating beautiful yet functional spaces tailored to each client.

Cathy thoughtfully customizes each home to families' unique personalities and lifestyles. And in commercial projects, she excels at creating environments to both reflect and elevate her client's brand identity.

A proud self-taught designer herself, Cathy has taught thousands of homeowners how to bring their own spaces to life through her interactive DIY workshops, biweekly column in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, and KITV morning news design segments.

Community service never goes out of style

Beyond her design work, Cathy is a community leader who serves on the Board of Directors at the historic Hawaii Theatre as well as at her alma mater, Sacred Hearts Academy. Additionally, she is the president and director of Kidz For A Cause, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2008 by her daughter, Nicki Lee.

Over the years, Cathy has mentored hundreds of kids through Kidz For A Cause in leadership and philanthropy. Through these efforts, KFAC has raised over $760,000 for various children's charities across the islands. For more information on Kidz For A Cause, visit

Most recently, Cathy donated all of her time and services for over a year to design and decorate the new Family Recreation Center at our local Ronald McDonald House Charities. Take a look at this awe-inspiring project by clicking here or by visiting our "RMHC Project" page.
